ArtsForward Social Media Community Guidelines

​What to Expect
ArtsForward aims to be a welcoming, respectful place to share community events, programing, local initiatives and positive discussion and link you to more detailed information and/or resources.


Things to Consider

• ArtsForward is a community hub and frequently shares content from other organizations, community members, businesses and volunteer groups. The views/posts/posters/advertisements etc shared by ArtsForward on behalf of another organization/member represents their own views & content creation policies, and are not necessarily endorsed and/or approved by ArtsForward.
• Accounts will be monitored by Staff and Board Members, as applicable, during normal business hours.
• Contacting ArtsForward via social media is not the preferred method, as your inquiry may not be answered in a timely fashion. We encourage you to contact us at 204-476-3232 or [email protected].
• ArtsForward supports an inclusive, diverse, equitable and respectful work environment, free of discrimination and harassment. ArtsForward Board & Staff moderate our sites/content and any comments which do not follow our guidelines, or any conduct that is discriminatory or harassing with respect to a Board Member or Staff or Community Member will be removed and the user may be banned from future use.

Commenting Procedure
Stay on Topic – we encourage focused, thoughtful comments and discussions which respond or relate to the particular topic, new initiative or upcoming event/program. Comments which are not related to our content or attempt to derail the conversation may be removed.
Be Respectful – do not post content that is abusive, homophobic, discriminatory, malicious, aggressive, threatening, violent, sexist, harassing, inflammatory, indecent, knowingly false, misleading, deceptive, vulgar, obscene, offensive, scandalous, sexually explicit, profane, incites hatred, discrimination or physical harm of any kind against any individual or class of individuals based on a protected ground in the Human Rights Code.
